Prayer for Waiting on the Lord

Heavenly Father, you have blessed us with the life of your Son. You have brought your Holy Spirit to bathe our hearts. Now with these gifts of your presence we would dare to ask that not only do we receive them with gratitude but live patiently for your will to be done. You have made us to be like you Father and we know that when we let your Son work in our hearts we become more like you everyday. Bring your Spirit to bear on our minds and hearts that conscious of being made in your likeness we can continue to see others the same way and offer them the hope that you have given us. There are so many out there in the world around us who don't know you and some who actively fight against you. Touch them as you have touched us. Bring their minds and hearts to consider your reality. Help us to be witnesses to the ones you would bring in our presence. In the midst of all this we would yield in patience to your will. Let what you will for us give you glory. If others see us let them see you through us. Thank you Lord in every way. In Jesus' name. Amen
