Attitudes, the Hidden Pretenders

by Harald Haugan (Author)  Format: Kindle Edition

Attitudes are our self-protecting ego controllers. They are the way we believe we are in control personally and relationally; a kind of sonar and radar system we use to identify and justify ourselves in the world around us. They are internal pretenses, The Hidden Pretenders. Based on 2Corinthians 10:4-5

The reason I wrote this little book is that over the decades I’ve found attitudes are the crippling assumptions we make when we handle first encounters, uncomfortable situations, and every next moment with its unknown challenges, all without God.  Everybody has them.  This book only touches the surface when it comes to attitudes, but it’s a start.  For Christians, the need is to shift from the multiplicity of attitudes and take on the gift of the Holy Spirit and the one Spiritude the Lord graces us with.  Spiritude handles everything. He is our example. That’s the ‘why’ for the book, thinking Spirit-led the way Jesus did.
