Easter 2020, Look Carefully! 

In the midst of an unseen life-threatening disease that separates us from one another, do you realize what year it is?

                                                             It’s 2020!

 Because Jesus is risen from the dead it’s sight restoration year. We have been given 20/20 spiritual vision! We can focus on what it means to be alive, to be human, to have families, friends and a purpose. We can see life as it was meant to be. No more death, no more disease, no more tears, no more aloneness, no more separation, families one again, complete fulfillment and eternity. The virus of sin has been defanged. Only Heaven awaits. Reasoning:

 First, the Resurrection is the proof Jesus is the sole foundation to understand spiritual reality. Second, the Resurrection is the proof that seals Scripture being God's Word. Third, the Resurrection is the assurance of our salvation, the guarantee of eternity with God. Fourth, the Resurrection validates the claims of Christ. Fifth, the Resurrection shows the Cross is the means to experience God. Sixth, the Resurrection lets us look back so that we can look forward in faith. Seventh, the Resurrection makes faith in Jesus the way of life.

Eight, the Resurrection allows Jesus to live in our hearts by the Holy Spirit through faith.

Ninth, the Resurrection is the revealing work of the Holy Spirit.

Tenth, the Resurrection is the proof of spiritual rebirth.

Eleventh, the Resurrection is source for confidence in giving our testimony.

Twelfth, the Resurrection is how we become part of His Body of which He is the head.

Thirteenth, the Resurrection defines our spiritual relationship to God and others.

Fourteenth, the Resurrection defines human beings as images of God.

Fifteenth, the Resurrection defines the nature and purpose of morality.

Sixteenth, the Resurrection defines our spiritual job description in the Body.

Seventeenth, the Resurrection was, is and will be for all people everywhere at all times until He returns.

Eighteenth, the Resurrection reveals, defines and empowers God's love in Jesus.

Nineteenth, the Resurrection is always getting us to look forward acting in faith.

Twentieth, the Resurrection is spiritual, personal and interpersonal.

Twenty first, the Resurrection gives us the purpose and function of all existence.

Twenty second, the Resurrection gives personal meaning and application to love, truth and grace.

 I'm sure you can add to this list. Its objective is to encourage our daily witness and testimony to bring hesitant believers back to exercise their faith and non-believers back to their Creator. It's not easy in a culture anesthetized by its own inventions and wilting under the pressures of conformity. Its spiritual absolutes lost in the fool's gold of immoral compromise.
